WARRANTY

SOFA

Next Gen Chairs is proud of the high standards of quality and craftsmanship that go into our furniture, and that is reflected in our 5 Years Manufacturers Warranty on each of our sofas.

This includes any manufacturers defect relating to all parts and components used to make our furniture. This includes the frame, mechanism, motor, and all things electrical within the 5 year warranty period.

In addition, there is a 12 month warranty against any leather defect, interior foam defect, or defect relating to the tray table.

The warranty period itself begins on date of delivery. Warranty covers full cost of the replacement part, its shipping, and labour required in the event of a repair.

If a manufacturers defect is established, Next Gen Chairs will look to perform a repair to fix the defect free of cost. In the event that a repair cannot resolve the defect, we will look to replace the product altogether with a brand new, like for like product.

However, in order to establish a manufacturers defect exists, Next Gen Chairs will look at the information provided by the customer, and may look to send a furniture technician to confirm whether the defect is a result of manufacturers defect or caused by customer usage.

If it is established that damage was a result of customer usage, the product shall be deemed out of warranty. In such a scenario, Next Gen Chairs will look to provide a quote confirming the cost of performing the repair including cost of parts, shipping and labour.

Please note that creases and natural leather markings are not considered defects, but rather reaffirm the use of 100% premium genuine leather. In addition, its perfectly natural for leather to soften and the seat to find it's natural groove after greater usage, hence this would not amount to a manufacturers defect.

Please note all our furniture are intended for domestic use, unless stated otherwise, hence must not be placed outside of a residential setting and must only be used for its intended purpose. Used outside of its intended purpose and outside of it's setting, will lead to the warranty becoming void.

MASSAGE CHAIR

Next Gen Chairs provides up to a 3 year warranty (subject to model) against any manufacturers defect to its full body massage chairs. This includes any structural, mechanical, technical, and material defect that affects the performance of the massage chair.

In the event of a defect, Next Gen Chairs will assess all the information provided by the customer and may look to send a massage chair technician to assess the cause of damage. If it is deemed that a manufacturers defect exists, Next Gen Chairs will look to perform a repair within its period of warranty at no cost to the customer. This will include covering the cost of new parts, shipping and labour. If a repair cannot fix the defect, Next Gen Chairs will look to replace the massage chair with a new one.

However, if it is established that damage was a result of customer usage, the product shall be deemed out of warranty. In such a scenario, Next Gen Chairs will look to provide a quote confirming the cost of performing the repair including cost of parts, shipping and labour.

In the event that a massage chair is delivered without defect, but a customer is unhappy with their massage chair, they are entitled to return their massage chair for a refund minus the collection fee and refund processing fee. Customer will have up to 14 days to return their item and get a refund.

CLEARANCE AND EX DISPLAY

All our products that are sold as either Clearance or Ex display, shall come with a 12 months warranty, unless otherwise stated.

48 HOUR COOLING OFF PERIOD

As a gesture of goodwill, Next Gen Chairs offers a 48 Hour Cooling Off period from the date your order is placed during which time an order may be cancelled or altered without a cancellation fee or administration fee for a order placed in store. All monies paid will be fully refunded during this period.

If an order is cancelled after 48 hours for a stock item or out of stock item, the customer will bear 40% cost of total order value.This will help cover costs incurred in terms of processing, materials, logistics & manufacturing.

Please note Cooling Off Period only applies to orders placed in store only.

CANCELLATION

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days of receiving your goods, provided that a manufacturing defect is found. We do not accept returns or offer any refunds after the 14 day mark for an order placed online. Please be aware that 14 days starts from day of delivery.

Although we understand the difficulties in checking access routes (door sizes, corridors, etc.) for installation of furniture, it is always the customer’s responsibility to ensure that furniture will fit into your home. We cannot be held responsible for furniture which has to be returned because it doesn’t fit. Our standard cancellation fees would apply in this situation and the customer would bear 40% cost of order total in cancelling or returning the item, plus an additional £150 to get the item collected and returned.

RETURN PROCEDURE

All items returned must be in new condition. There will be a collection fee of £150 to return any goods and an additional £50 processing fee to process the refund where there is no defect is to be found.

Until returned, the furniture is under the customer’s ownership and it will be their responsibility to maintain and protect the furniture, keeping it in new condition.

All labels including fire label must remain intact along with item's original packaging.

Please note, prior to offering a refund we will look to inspect the goods for quality purposes. If furniture is packaged correctly and considered to be in new condition, a full refund shall be processed minus the collection and processing fee back on to the original payment method.

Failure to return goods in perfect condition may result in additional charges. This is assessed on a case by case basis.

RETURN

To complete your return and to process a refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected as stated above, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you on the status of your refund.

If your return is accepted and passes the above criteria, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to the original payment method. This can take up to 3 to 5 working days.

Please note failure to return goods in perfect condition may result in additional charges and will be deducted off the refund amount.

DEFECTIVE ITEM

In the event that your order arrives defective, please notify us at the earliest possible time so that we can provide a prompt resolution to the matter. Please note any Defect reported after 14 days of receipt of furniture will prevent us from issuing a refund. You will however have the option of a repair or a replacement.

If your item arrives defective, we reserve the right to first perform a repair that ensures item is in new condition and fit for purpose. If however you are not happy with the repair, we will be more than happy to replace the defective item with a brand new item or offer a full refund. Whilst your replacement is being arranged, you are entitled to use the original item up until the the replacement is delivered. We will then look to exchange the new replacement item for the original defective item.

DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY

We aim to deliver stock items within 2 weeks of receiving your order. Any items out of stock can take up to 14 weeks from the moment we receive your order to the point of delivery. Please note a delay in delivery of your order does not warrant a valid cancellation.

Please note there is a delivery fee of £150 and there can be an assembly fee of £75 depending on the items included as part of your order.

We only deliver to Mainland UK addresses. We provide a 2 man delivery service where your order is handled with great care and delivered to the room of your choice. We can also provide an assembly service where we assemble the goods and take the packaging upon request. Please enquire about cost of assembly in relation to each and every individual order.
